'2106' is my fourth EP. I dedicate it to my parents: Marina & Jorge.

Sound exploration, hybrid textures, atemporal atmospheres, nostalgic melodies, dialogue between the present and the past and a concern for the future are elements present in this EP.

I always think that there are infinite possibilities for composing music and expressing oneself through sound. This time I took VHS tapes from my childhood and old own field recordings and started to write music with them. Throughout each composition you will hear my mother's voice, ambient sounds recorded in my kindergarten classroom, voices of my classmates, me talking about a gift from my father at the age of four and glitches that were generated from the digitization of the tapes.

This EP is dedicated to my parents in gratitude for their constant support and for being responsible for the strong bond I have with music since I was born.

‘2106’ are the numbers of the day I was born: June 21st. It also represents the future and timelessness, worlds that are present in my processes.

Exploración sonora, texturas híbridas, atmósferas atemporales, melodías nostálgicas, diálogos entre el presente y el pasado y preocupación por el futuro son elementos que se encuentran en este EP.

Siempre pienso que hay infinitas posibilidades para componer música y expresarse a través del sonido. Esta vez tomé cintas VHS de mi infancia y compuse a partir de ellas. A lo largo de cada composición escucharás la voz de mi madre, los sonidos ambientales grabados en mi jardín de infancia, las voces de mis compañeros de clase, yo hablando de un regalo de mi padre a la edad de cuatro años y glitches que se generaron a partir del proceso de digitalización de las cintas.

Este EP está dedicado a mis padres en agradecimiento por su constante apoyo y por ser los responsables del fuerte vínculo que tengo con la música desde que llegué al mundo.

"2106" son los números del día en que nací: 21 de junio. También representa futuro y atemporalidad, mundos que están presentes en mis procesos.
